I have exceptional fond memories of Nick walking the Anlaby Spire hallways having a lovely welcoming smile for everyone whom he passed by. He removed a benign cyst from my leg many years ago and this now allows me to feel that connection to his vast experience after his passing. He changed the life of a vast number of people around the world both young and old with his skilful hands and I am in no doubt that they will be ever grateful for his help. I will be forever grateful for his work and he will be fondly missed.

I was a specialist nurse in Hull hospitals I had a melanoma which was a huge shock but Mr Hart saved my life. He operated and the scar is extensive. He described it as his mark of zorro I also had a small lesion on my face which required surgery on more than one occasion. It was a worrying time but he was so reassuring and fortunately I have survived for many years. I had been thinking about all this recently and wondered if he was still working. I would love to have been able to thank him but sadly I have missed the opportunity. I hope his work will always be a appreciated both here and abroad. I send my sympathy to all family.
