A truly devoted man to help change lives of others.

So sad to hear this news.

Rae what beautiful heartfelt words. To speak for so many of us who had the privilege to have worked with him and known him for the caring compassionate gentleman he was.

I first met Mr. Hart when I moved to Hull. I worked as a nurse in the Plastic Surgery theatres at Kingston General Hospital, and travelled to Pakistan with the team in 1999. I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a wonderful, kind-hearted, and talented man. I still have the photos I took on that trip, and get them out now and again to remember a very special time. It was a great pleasure to play a small part in such a worthwhile project. My condolences go to Mr. Hart's wife and family, I feel we were all blessed to have had him in our lives.

So sad to hear of Mr Hart's passing. I worked with him as a surgical trainee in 2006/7. I still feel the warmth and enthusiasm towards surgery and all the people aroud him. His skill and judgement were superb yet overshadowed by his kindness, compassion and humour. I share our moments in his theatre, with my trainees and still hear his voice in my head as I operate today. A great man and I count myself as very lucky to have worked with him.

Saddened to hear the news of Mr Harts passing. I very much remember him from working on the children's ward as a staff nurse on the 13th floor when the children came in for their cleft lip and palate repairs. He was super to work with and the parents always so very, very grateful of his expertise and kindness. Thoughts are with his family.

What a great guy this was. He will be sadly missed by the Beverley U3A Recycled Cyclists. I had the privilege of recruiting him about 8 years ago. He became an integral part of this group and was loved by all. I also had the pleasure of singing with him in the Beverley Male Voice Choir. You went far too soon Nick. Rip

I had the great pleasure of working with Mr Hart as a young paediatric radiologist when we created a video swallow service for children after palate surgery. He was such a great person to work, and patient with a young colleague. He will be remembered, and missed.

RIP Mr Hart A great surgeon, teacher and humanitarian. And a true gentleman. I’m very privileged and thankful to have the chance to learn from him during my training in Hull.

Very sad to know. Had opportunity to work with him as part of charity work in Gujrat. Very devoted, lovely person he was indeed. The great work he started will be remembered for long. May his soul rest in peace. Aameen!

I feel very lucky to have known and worked with Mr Hart over last 25 years. It was Mr Hart who invited me in 1999, to become part of OPSA and accompany him and his cleft team to Pakistan. His enthusiasm to help children with cleft was totally unmatched. He was the pillar of our charity around which we all gathered. It was his devotion and dedication which kept us going despite difficult circumstances. Rest in peace Mr Hart, you will be missed thoroughly.

Nick was a friend and colleague. Even during his illness we met at the GP surgery where Nick used to come on his bike. A wonderful person and an excellent plastic surgeon who will be remembered for his skills and his kindness to patients he treated. Nick touched many lives and will always be remembered with happy memories Our condolences to his dear wife Shirley and his family and may God give them courage to bear their sad loss.

Love Chris and Shernaz Walton.

Thank you Nick for inviting me down to Kingston to do a few cases with you as an ENT registrar through to being a great colleague for 9 years until your retirement. You never had a bad word to say about anyone, but your knowing grin said so much! RIP.
